Founded in 1998, the BMW Group Technology Office in Silicon Valley fosters a freethinking environment of open-minded engineers who continually shape next-generation automotive technology for efficiency, consumer safety, and the joy of driving. From conception to market availability, the BMW Group Technology Office has been responsible for technology incorporated into the BMW Group’s premium automobiles as well as embraced across the industry.

We had the pleasure to work alongside this team and tell the story of their innovations to improve the driving experience. A standout project was the launch of the M App, designed to build a community of amateur track drivers and provide them with real-time driving data designed to be shared with other drivers, improving their driving skills and enhancing the experience.
