SEABA Heli is a 23-year legacy heli-ski operator based in Haines, Alaska — known for steep, technical, and truly world-class terrain. Within core circles, SEABA had a strong reputation. However, the brand lacked the modern visibility and positioning to reflect its stature within the industry.

The objective was clear:

Increase awareness, modernize the brand, and position SEABA as the definitive heli-ski experience in Alaska heading into the 2025/26 season.

The Strategy

ECHOS approached SEABA’s growth through three integrated pillars:

– Authority-building media exposure
– Brand modernization
– Industry-first experiential innovation

The goal wasn’t just awareness. it was category elevation.

1. Building Authority Through Media

ECHOS led proactive outreach to ski and outdoor industry media to spotlight SEABA’s guides, terrain, and service model ahead of the 2025/26 season.
By positioning the guides as elite professionals operating in one of the most technical mountain environments in North America, we reframed SEABA not just as a heli provider — but as a destination experience.
The result was renewed media attention and increased interest from both consumer and industry publications.

2. Modernizing the Brand Platform

SEABA’s reputation was strong, its digital presence did not reflect it.

ECHOS developed and launched a new website designed to:

– Highlight the experience and terrain
– Elevate guide credibility
– Reinforce operational safety and expertise
– Establish a premium, modern visual identity
– Create a platform capable of converting high-intent guests

The redesign positioned SEABA in alignment with the caliber of its terrain, technical, confident, and world-class.

The crescendo of the campaign was the launch of SEABA’s first-of-its-kind Industry Access Program.
Designed to bring guides, retail leaders, designers, shop employees, and brand professionals to Haines, this initiative created a bucket-list experience specifically for those who influence the outdoor ecosystem.

This program accomplished three strategic objectives:

– Generated earned media across industry and consumer channels
– Positioned SEABA as a brand that invests back into the mountain community
– Created organic ambassadors within the ski and snowboard world
