Unveiled at the Sea Otter Classic, The Meerkat Klunker is an homage to simpler times, the joy of riding, and the companies that make the magic happen. Built from the ground up by BTCHN Bikes, this is far from your ordinary Klunker. This launches tomorrow morning at 6 AM PST, and we hope that you can share this news with your audience, the bike is truly something to behold.
State Bicycle Co. and Dynaplug are auctioning off a collaboration Meerkat Klunker to benefit the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS). With a small $5 suggested donation, participants have the opportunity to win a truly unique bike blanketed in beautiful components. Highlights of the build would make any cyclist drool and include State s revered Klunker frame, Velocity rims laced to Paul Components hubs with Crankset and headset from White Industries, and Seatpost from Thomson. All proceeds from the Donation Drawing will be donated to SBTS, contributing to their mission to build trails and communities in California s Lost Sierra region.
