David FanningSenior Communications - UK
David is based in London and has worked in the media since the mid 90s, starting out as a journalist at Macworld UK. While editing Macworld he studied for his MBA and in 2006 he started his own PR agency servicing consumer technology brands. David also loves organising events and ran the biggest and longest running series of press events for consumer tech journalists in the UK, Digital Seasons. This has helped David forge long lasting relationships with media across a broad range of categories both nationally and internationally.
Being a native Londoner has meant that David’s taste for action sports is strictly urban. He’s been skateboarding since 1974. He snagged one of the first mountain bikes to hit the UK in 1986 and immediately went to work as one of London’s first cycle couriers. Now, David has retired from racing drift cars and refereeing roller derby games. But when the weather is agreeable you may still spot him practicing his slalom and freestyle skateboarding around the city.
